Yoga Practice Requirement

So I am supposed to complete the following for the RYT program:

  • Attend 16 classes
  • Observe 9 classes
  • Assist 4 classes
  • Team teach 20 classes
  • Teach full 5 1-hour classes

To accomplish this, I’m going to start with the first item by following the schedule below. This will be challenging because I’m trying to transition from my regular workout routine which consists of weight liftings (PowerFlex), kickboxing, running and mountain biking to commit to completing the program practice requirement, along with going to work daily 8am – 5pm.

  • Monday: Micha’s class @5:45pm (Rising Sun)
  • Tuesday: Kickboxing @ 6:30pm
  • Wednesday: Running @ 5:00pm; Powerflex @ 6:00pm (Bally gym)
  • Thursday: Micha’s class @ 5:45 (Sattva Yoga)
  • Friday: Micha’s Level 2 class @ 5:45pm, Yin/Restorative Yoga @ 7:15pm (Sattva Yoga)
  • Saturday: Mountain biking / leisure
  • Sunday: RYT class @ 12:00 – 8:00pm (Rising Sun)

I really wish to be able to continue biking and going to kickboxing with Andy, cuz mountain biking his ultimate passion and it’s great to hit the trails once in a while… It’s our “common ground” as husband & wife. Wish me luck!
